[The link to sign-up is at the bottom of this page.]
The Red Ribbon Leadership Academy places high school aged cadet NCOs and officers in front of middle school students (non-cadets) to serve as role models and leadership educators during a one evening, 3-hour workshop. The "red ribbon" symbolizes the Academy's role in promoting the drug-free ethic.
This year we are proud to coordinate a Drug Demand Reduction Outreach with the NY National Guard Counter Drug Task Force; Human Understanding & Growth Services (H.U.G.S.); and Suffolk County Sheriff's Office. Parents are encouraged to stay and participate in the "Hidden in Plain Sight" training. Upon registration, parents will be sent a questionnaire to confirm participation in training offerings to them. Students from local school Districts and cadets will engage in drunken goggles, Escape Room, and Cadet-led leadership activities.
Red Ribbon Week runs October 23, 2023 through October 31, 2023. Wear a Red Ribbon to promote a drug-free message.
