Adventure and Fun While Supporting Our Community!

Our unit has a unique relationship with the committed airman and leadership at the 106th Rescue Wing Air National Guard. This gives our unit's program a unique edge that nearly no other cadet would experience unless they went to a special cadet activity in a different state! While other cadets have to fight for the chance to meet with pilots, fly in C-130s, and operate on a base for just a few days, our cadets have opportunities such as this weekly!

On top of these Air Force-related events, our Cadet Program engages in local activities such as National Night Out; crowd control detail for events such as those happening at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge located in Quogue, NY; training exercises to prepare us for missions requested by the Air Force Resource Center or FEMA; disaster relief with partners such as Island Harvest; orientation flights in our Cessnas, Hot Air Balloons, and Gliders; assisting with local air shows; field trips like kayaking, and more!

Visit our Social Media pages for a plethora of images of our cadets making themselves and their communities better each and every day!
